Kundloor: A successful edition of the “Bazm-e-Khitabat” was organised at Jamiat Zia-ul-Uloom Kundloor with the aim of enhancing the academic, intellectual and oratory skills of students.
A total of 18 students from the Sufla and Aaliya groups participated in the event, presenting well prepared speeches on a range of religious, reformative and social themes. The topics had been assigned in advance by the teaching staff, allowing students ample time to research and deliver their speeches with clarity and confidence.
At the conclusion of the programme, the institution’s administrator, Maulana Obaidullah Abu Bakr Nadwi, addressed the participants and encouraged them to continue developing their communication skills. He noted that strong oratory, clear expression and solid knowledge leave a lasting impact on audiences.
He also highlighted that students who consistently engage in such platforms during their academic years are able to speak confidently at large gatherings, conferences and public events after graduation. He added that many alumni of the institution who actively participated in similar activities during their student life are now serving in prominent mosques and contributing to religious outreach in their respective regions.
Maulana Nadwi urged current students to value such opportunities, learn from experienced speakers and continuously refine their abilities through regular practice and participation.
The programme was coordinated with special efforts from Maulana Ilyas Nadvi and Mufti Haris Nadvi, along with support from other teaching staff who guided and encouraged the students throughout the preparation process. Their collective efforts contributed to the overall success of the event, which was well received by attendees.
As part of the concluding session, all participating students were awarded books as a token of encouragement. On the same occasion, wall magazines prepared by students of second and fifth Arabic classes were officially inaugurated by Maulana Obaidullah Abu Bakr Nadvi, which was widely appreciated by those present.
In his closing remarks, Maulana Ilyas Nadvi thanked all staff members for their cooperation and acknowledged the dedication of students who contributed to the organisation and smooth execution of the programme. The event concluded with appreciation for participants, distribution of prizes and a closing prayer, marking a successful end to the monthly oratory session.
