Valki’s Historic Jamia Masjid Reopens After Major Renovation
All India Muslim Personal Law Board General Secretary graces the dignified inauguration ceremony

Valki: The historic Jamia Masjid in Valki reopened its doors on Thursday after a thorough renovation and expansion. The ceremony Inaugurated with the Asr prayer, led by Qazi of Jamat-ul-Muslimeen Bhatkal, Maulana Abdul Rab Khateebi Nadvi. Devotees from Valki and nearby areas filled the mosque to celebrate the milestone.
Maulana Fazlur Rahman Mujaddidi, General Secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, attended as the chief guest. In his speech, he described mosques as more than just places of prayer—they are the heartbeat of Muslim communities. He stressed their role in building faith, fostering brotherhood, and encouraging unity during events like Friday prayers and Eid gatherings.
Maulana Mujaddidi also called for mosques to host welfare programs that benefit everyone in society. Other speakers included Qazi Jamat-ul-Muslimeen Bhatkal, Maulana Abdul Rab Khateebi Nadvi, and Qazi Khalifa Jamat-ul-Muslimeen Bhatkal, Maulana Khwaja Moinuddin Nadvi Madani. They highlighted the mosque’s spiritual and social importance and thanked contributors to the project.
Jamat-ul-Muslimeen Valki President Aslam presided over the event, with Dr. Abdullah Sukri Nadvi managing the proceedings. Leaders and members from local Jamaats joined on stage.
