US Congressional Record Recognises Public Service of Karnataka Leader UT Khader
The Karnataka Minister was honoured during a ceremony at Capitol Hill, where his contributions to public life were formally acknowledged.
Washington, D.C: Karnataka Minister UT Khader Fareed has received international recognition after his public service and professional achievements were formally recorded in the United States Congressional Record, ensuring they become part of the permanent archives of the US Congress.
The recognition was presented during a ceremony at Capitol Hill by US Congressman Jonathan Jackson, the Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
During the event, Congressman Jackson handed over the official Congressional Record documentation to Khader and also presented him with the Congressional Challenge Medallion, a commemorative honour associated with the US Capitol.
The ceremony was attended by Dr Vijay G Prabhakar, Senior Adviser to Congressman Jackson, and Naveenchandra Karna, Executive Director of the American Multi Ethnic Commission.
Organisers described the recognition as an important acknowledgment of Khader’s contributions to public service and a notable moment for Indian leadership on the international stage.
