Toddler Killed, Four Injured After Bus Accident at Haveri Bus Stand
Government bus runs over pedestrians while parking, police register case against driver

A tragic accident at a bus stand in Haveri claimed the life of a two and a half year old boy and left four others injured on Wednesday morning.
The incident took place around 7 am when a government transport bus was being parked at the platform. According to police, the driver allegedly lost control while manoeuvring the vehicle, leading it to run over people standing nearby.
The child who died has been identified as Hazrat Ali. He was rushed to a hospital immediately after the incident but succumbed to his injuries on the way.
The injured individuals received medical treatment and were later discharged, a senior police official confirmed.
Police said the bus was scheduled to operate on the route between Haveri and Lakshmeshwar at the time of the accident.
A case has been registered against the driver, and further investigation is currently in progress to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
