Tanzeem Appeals for Restraint on Social Media Amid Bhatkal Site Controversy
The Tanzeem urged the public to avoid rumours, unnecessary debates and provocative posts during the present situation.
Bhatkal: Majlis e Islah Wa Tanzeem has appealed to community leaders, youth and the general public to act responsibly on social media in connection with the ongoing site controversy.
In an important public message, the organisation requested people to stay away from unnecessary comments, arguments and provocative posts online.
Tanzeem said that in the present situation, maintaining patience, discipline and peace is a shared responsibility. It warned that unverified news, rumours or divisive remarks could make the situation more complicated.
The Tanzeem further appealed to the public not to engage in needless social media debates related to the issue. It urged everyone to show maturity and responsibility and avoid sharing anything that may create confusion or tension.
The appeal was issued by the General Secretary of Majlis e Islah Wa Tanzeem.
