Students of Maktab Jamia Kargadde Visit Bhatkal Rural Police Station on Educational Tour
The informative visit aimed to familiarize students with police functioning, public service, and the importance of law and civic responsibility.
Students of Maktab Jamia Kargadde were taken on an educational and awareness visit to the Bhatkal Rural Police Station on Jali Road on Thursday morning, July 16, as part of a special training and learning initiative.
The visit was organized with the objective of introducing students to the functioning of the police department, the importance of law and order, and the role of police in serving society.
Upon their arrival, the Station House Officer and police personnel warmly welcomed the students and conducted an interactive session on various important topics. The officers explained the duties and responsibilities of the police, the proper use of emergency helpline numbers, procedures for filing an FIR, and the functioning of the criminal justice system.
Students were also given information about revolvers and other safety equipment used by the police, as well as the objectives and administration of prisons. The officers advised the students to respect the law, maintain good moral values, and grow into responsible citizens.
The students listened attentively and actively participated in the session by asking several questions, which were answered in detail by the police officials. The interactive program helped enhance the students’ understanding of law enforcement and strengthened their appreciation and trust in the police department.
At the end of the visit, the students were taken around various sections of the police station and expressed great joy over the unique learning experience.
The teachers of Maktab Jamia Kargadde expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Bhatkal Rural Police Department, particularly the Sub Inspector and staff members, for organizing an informative, memorable, and hospitable session for the students.
