Country Needs Youth Leadership, United Struggle Essential to Protect Democracy: Nadeem Khan
APCR National Secretary urges Muslims to strengthen ties with fellow citizens and establish their identity through good character and conduct, responding to a Fikrokhabar question in Udupi.

Udupi (Fikrokhabar News): Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) National Secretary Nadeem Khan has highlighted the important role of young people in the present situation in the country, saying India needs a generation that can raise its voice for people’s rights and actively work to protect democratic values.
Responding to a question from Fikrokhabar reporter Syed Arslan during his visit to Udupi, Khan said the recent participation of young people in movements for their rights had been noteworthy. He observed that young people had come forward, raised their demands and succeeded in getting their voices heard.
He said the current situation calls for greater participation from the younger generation and a stronger sense of responsibility. Organised and united efforts, he added, are essential for securing people’s rights and protecting democratic principles.
Criticising the present government, Khan described it as a “government of vote theft”. He said there was a need for continued efforts to safeguard democracy under the prevailing circumstances.
He alleged that the government was trying to create a sense of isolation among people, particularly Muslims. However, he advised the Muslim community not to fall into such a mindset and instead strengthen its relationships with fellow citizens from other communities.
Khan urged Muslims to increase their engagement with other sections of society, build mutual trust and establish their identity through good character and conduct.
He further emphasised that social harmony, mutual unity and collective efforts are essential to protect democratic rights and strengthen the country’s social fabric.
