Maulana Abdul Subhan Nadwi Madani says success in this world and the Hereafter lies in remaining connected to the Quran.

Bhatkal: A spiritual gathering marking the completion of the Tafseer of the Holy Quran was held at Masjid Imam Shafi’i in Bhatkal, with a large gathering of scholars and members of the community in attendance.
The gathering, titled “Jalsa Khatm e Tafseer e Quran,” marked the completion of the lessons on the final Surahs of the Quran. Participants expressed gratitude to Allah for the opportunity and renewed their commitment to continuing Quranic lessons in mosques.
The programme began with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Muhammad Saad son of Ismail.
Renowned Islamic scholar, Quran commentator and eloquent preacher Maulana Abdul Subhan Nakhuda Nadwi Madani delivered the concluding Tafsir lessons and addressed the gathering.
In his speech, Maulana Abdul Subhan Nadwi said that remaining connected to the Quran is the key to success in both this world and the Hereafter. He described the Quran as the ultimate source of guidance and stressed that spreading understanding of its teachings is one of the most important needs of the present time.
He said that although the formal cycle of Tafseer had now been completed, the study of the Quran and its knowledge would continue. God willing, the lessons will begin again from Surah Al Fatiha and remain an ongoing source of learning and guidance.
Maulana Abdul Subhan Nadwi also praised the religious services of Maulana Ansar Khateeb Nadwi Madani, president of Jamiat Imam Shafi’i, particularly highlighting his concern for the Hereafter and his efforts to educate students and members of the wider community.
He said that the establishment and continuation of Maktab, Quran memorisation and Tafsir programmes at the mosque since its foundation were the result of Allah’s grace and the sincere efforts of those involved. He also appreciated the fact that local residents have continued to benefit from these programmes.
The programme concluded with an emotional prayer led by Maulana Abdul Subhan Nadwi. He prayed for the protection and well being of the Muslim community, the strengthening of mosques and religious institutions, peace and security in Bhatkal, and forgiveness for those who have passed away.
