Six Pythons Rescued from Residential Property in Karwar
Forest officials safely relocate large reptiles found at a house under construction in Katinakona.

Karwar: Panic spread in the Katinakona area of Karwar on Sunday after six pythons were discovered inside a residential compound.
The snakes were found among construction materials stored on the premises of a house, alarming local residents. Forest officials were immediately informed, and Forest Guard Gopal Naika rushed to the spot to handle the situation.
According to officials, the rescued pythons measured between 8 and 12 feet in length. All six reptiles were safely captured and later released into a nearby forest area.
Speaking about the incident, Naika explained that the early summer period marks the mating season for snakes. During this time, male snakes actively search for females, which can result in several snakes being spotted in one place.
No injuries were reported during the rescue operation.
