Haramain Recordings Completes USD 32 Million Acquisition of Haramain.com

Makkah, Saudi Arabia, September 28: Haramain Recordings has announced the completion of its acquisition of Haramain.com in a transaction valued at USD 32 million.

According to the company, the acquisition was carried out in several stages over a period of between three and five years and has now been fully completed.

Haramain.com was established in 2006 and has developed into a major digital platform serving pilgrims and Muslim communities around the world. Its services focus on connecting users with Makkah, Madinah and the Two Holy Mosques through religious content, travel assistance and other related services.

The company said its spiritual content platform, Haramain.info, has recorded more than one billion cumulative views. Its wider network of services is currently used by people in more than 180 countries.

The acquisition covers several businesses and services operating under the Haramain brand, including Haramain Gifts, Haramain Qurbani, Haramain Umrah, Haramain Travels, Haramain Assist, Haramain Consultation and Haramain Homes.

Haramain Recordings said the combined organisation will focus on increasing its international reach, improving existing services and developing new ways to support pilgrims, families and people who maintain a spiritual connection with Makkah and Madinah.

Luqman, CEO of Haramain.com, said the platform was originally created with the aim of serving pilgrims and people seeking a closer connection with the Haramain. He added that joining Haramain Recordings would provide greater resources and scale to continue that mission.

The company also confirmed that customers will not experience any disruption following the acquisition. Existing websites, bookings, orders and customer support services will continue to operate normally.

The current leadership team will also remain responsible for the day to day operations of the business.
