Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser Al Dossary to Deliver Friday Sermon at the Grand Mosque in Makkah
Sheikh Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al Juhani named reserve khateeb for the 14 Rabi Al-Thani sermon
The Agency for Imams and Muezzins Affairs has announced that Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser Al-Dosari, Imam and Khateeb of the Grand Mosque, will deliver this Friday’s sermon in Makkah. The sermon falls on 14 Rabi al-Thani 1448 AH.
As is customary, a reserve khateeb has also been named for the occasion. This week, that role goes to Sheikh Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Awad Al-Juhani, who will step in if required.
Sheikh Al-Dosari is one of the most well-known imams at the Grand Mosque, celebrated for his distinctive recitation style and widely followed by Muslims around the world through live broadcasts from Makkah.
Friday sermons at the Grand Mosque continue to draw massive audiences both in person and online, with worshippers tuning in from across the globe each week to follow the khutbah and prayers live from the Holy Kaaba.
