RFF Seeks Urgent Reconstruction of Jamia Abad Road in Bhatkal
Rahmat Abad Friends Forum (RFF) submitted a memorandum to the Assistant Commissioner and concerned departments, citing the road’s importance to thousands of students and residents.

Bhatkal: Residents facing difficulties due to poor road conditions in several parts of Bhatkal continue to seek relief, with the road connecting Madeena Colony, Rahmat Abad & Jamia Abad now in particularly poor condition.
The road has deteriorated significantly despite temporary repair work carried out in the past. With the arrival of rain, potholes repeatedly appear across the stretch, making the road difficult and uncomfortable for motorists and other commuters.
On Wednesday, representatives of the Rahmat Abad Friends Forum (RFF) visited the Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner’s office and the Public Works Department office. They met officials and submitted a memorandum seeking the immediate reconstruction of the road.
During the meeting, the RFF representatives highlighted the importance of the road to the local community. Several well known schools and colleges are located along the route, resulting in thousands of students using the road every day.
The road also serves as an important route for residents travelling for their daily needs, with a large number of people depending on it for regular transportation.
The representatives urged the authorities to take immediate steps to reconstruct the road and address the difficulties faced by the public.
RFF members said that if they do not receive a positive response from the authorities, they will approach the local MLA and seek his intervention to ensure that the issue receives prompt attention.
