The Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has published this week’s schedule of imams leading the five daily prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, running from 12 to 18 Safar 1448 AH.

For the Fajr (dawn) prayer, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Muhsin Al-Qarafi will lead worshippers, with Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmad Barhaji serving as reserve imam.

The Dhuhr (noon) prayer will be led by Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmad Barhaji, with Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Muhsin Al-Qurafi named as his backup.

For Asr (afternoon) prayers, Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair will take the lead, with Sheikh Saleh bin Awad Al-Maghamsi as the reserve imam.

The Maghrib (sunset) prayer will be led by Sheikh Dr. Abdul Muhsin bin Muhammad Al-Qasim, with Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair on standby.

Finally, for Isha (night) prayers, Sheikh Saleh bin Awad Al-Ghamdi will lead, with Sheikh Dr. Abdul Muhsin bin Muhammad Al-Qasim serving as reserve imam.

The schedule reflects the routine rotation among senior imams who lead prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque, one of the holiest sites in Islam, which welcomes worshippers and visitors from across the world throughout the year.
