The Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has published this week’s schedule of imams leading the five daily prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, covering 2 to 8 Rabi al-Thani 1448 AH.

For the Fajr (dawn) prayer, Sheikh Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmad Barhaji will lead worshippers, with Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al-Bu’ijan serving as reserve imam.

The Dhuhr (noon) prayer will be led by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al-Bu’ijan, with Sheikh Dr. Abdul Bari bin Awad Al-Thubaiti named as his backup.

For Asr (afternoon) prayers, Sheikh Prof. Dr. Ali bin Abdul Rahman Al-Huthaify will take the lead, with Sheikh Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmad Barhaji serving as reserve.

The Maghrib (sunset) prayer will be led by Sheikh Dr. Hussein bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, with Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al-Bu’ijan on standby.

Finally, for Isha (night) prayers, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Bari bin Awad Al-Thubaiti will lead, with Sheikh Dr. Hussein bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh serving as reserve imam.

The weekly rotation ensures continuity in prayer leadership at the Prophet’s Mosque, which continues to welcome large numbers of worshippers and visitors throughout the week.
