The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has officially published the weekly prayer Imam schedule for the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, covering the period from Sunday, 9 Dhul Qa’dah to Saturday, 15 Dhul Qa’dah 1447 AH.

Here is the complete schedule for the week:

Fajr (Dawn Prayer) Led by Sheikh Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmad Barhaji, with Sheikh Saleh bin Awwad Al-Maghamsi serving as the backup Imam.

Dhuhr (Midday Prayer) Led by Sheikh Saleh bin Awwad Al-Maghamsi, with Sheikh Dr. Ahmad bin Ali Al-Hudhaifi as the reserve Imam.

Asr (Afternoon Prayer) Led by Sheikh Dr. Ahmad bin Ali Al-Hudhaifi, with Sheikh Dr. Abdul Bari bin Awwad Al-Thubayti standing by as backup.

Maghrib (Sunset Prayer) Led by Sheikh Dr. Abdul Bari bin Awwad Al-Thubayti, with Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Abdurrahman Al-Hudhaifi as the reserve Imam.

Isha (Night Prayer) Led by Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Abdurrahman Al-Hudhaifi, with Sheikh Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmad Barhaji serving as the backup Imam.


All appointed Imams are senior scholars at Masjid al-Nabawi whose daily prayers are broadcast live and followed by millions of Muslims around the world. The General Presidency publishes this schedule every week to keep worshippers, pilgrims, and visitors to Madinah fully informed in advance.

This week’s schedule falls within the sacred month of Dhul Qa’dah, as Hajj season preparations continue to gain momentum across the Kingdom, with pilgrims increasingly making their way to the holy cities.
