Philanthropist Dr Mohammed Meeran Awarded Honorary Doctorate by Gulf Medical University

Eminent entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr Mohammed Meeran was recently awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree by the Gulf Medical University in Ajman. Recognized for his deep commitment to social causes, the founder and chairman of Emco International and Electric Way accepted the accolade with immense gratitude. He is also widely known across his hometown region as the owner of MM Resort in Bhatkal.

During his moving acceptance speech, Dr Meeran addressed a distinguished gathering that included His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman, alongside university founder Dr Thumbay Moideen and Chancellor Dr Venkat Raman Manda. He humbly stated that the recognition was not merely a personal triumph but a testament to the collective efforts of his volunteers, supporters, and friends.
