“Mota Bhai, Don’t Order a Lathi Charge”: Abhijeet Dipke Warns Amit Shah Ahead of Mumbai Protest
CJP leader refers to July 20 police action and says another lathi charge would lead to a demand for Amit Shah’s resignation

Mumbai: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leader Abhijeet Dipke has issued a warning to Union Home Minister Amit Shah ahead of the party’s planned protest in Mumbai on October 2.
In a statement ahead of the demonstration, Dipke addressed Shah as “Mota Bhai” and said, “Don’t order another lathi charge.” He referred to an earlier police action on July 20 and warned that any repeat of such action would lead his group to demand the Home Minister’s resignation.
Dipke said, “Amit Shah, don’t order another lathi charge. You’ve already made one mistake on July 20. Repeat it, and we’ll demand your resignation.”
The proposed October 2 protest is part of the CJP’s campaign against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and its demands concerning the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.
The CJP has announced plans to hold demonstrations in Mumbai, with Dipke and other party members calling on supporters to participate in the protest.
The remarks come amid continuing political and public debate over the SIR exercise and the actions of the Election Commission. The allegations and political demands made by the CJP remain positions expressed by the organisation.
