As per the new traffic guidelines issued by the Police Inspector, vehicles travelling from S Shamsuddin Circle and Bandar Road towards the Lower Market area will now pass through Bandar Road, Eidgah Maidan, Suthar Kere Cross, and then continue via the road in front of the police station.
Similarly, vehicles coming from Marikatta and the Old Bus Stand towards S Shamsuddin Circle must use the route passing through the road in front of the police station, Suthar Kere Cross, Eidgah Maidan, and Bandar Road.
For vehicles heading towards Jali, Jali Kodi, and Jali Beach areas, police have instructed commuters to use the Second Cross Road from Bandar Road.
The police department has also advised the public to avoid using National Highway 66 unless there is an emergency or unavoidable situation. Citizens have been requested to make use of alternative roads until the construction work is fully completed.
