A delegation of Jamaat e Islami Hind (JIH) visited the campus of Mohammad Ali Jauhar University and met students who are currently protesting against the recent demolition order concerning the institution.

The delegation included Mohammad Shafi Madni, Secretary of JIH, Mohammad Ahmad, Secretary of JIH, Inam ur Rehman, Assistant Secretary of JIH, Zameer Hasan Falahi, President of JIH Uttar Pradesh West, senior journalist Syed Khaleeq Ahmad, and Maulana Abdussalam Bastawi, Ameer e Muqami of JIH Rampur.

During their visit, the delegation interacted with the protesting students and expressed deep concern over the developments surrounding the university. The leaders assured the students of their solidarity and support during this difficult period.

The delegation stressed that the academic future of thousands of students should remain a top priority and emphasized the importance of protecting educational institutions from actions that could adversely affect students’ careers and aspirations.

JIH leaders also underlined the need for any administrative or legal action to be carried out in accordance with the principles of justice, due process, and the constitutional right to education. They called upon the concerned authorities to adopt a fair and balanced approach while addressing the matter.

The visiting members reiterated that safeguarding educational opportunities and ensuring justice for students are essential for maintaining public trust and preserving the country’s educational framework.
