IndiGo Aircraft Hits Docking System Pole at Srinagar Airport, All Passengers Safe
Flight from Navi Mumbai made contact with a VDGS pole while being parked at Srinagar Airport on Friday morning.

Srinagar: An IndiGo aircraft arriving from Navi Mumbai came into contact with a Visual Docking Guidance System pole while being parked at Srinagar Airport on Friday morning. No injuries were reported in the incident.
According to Srinagar Airport officials, IndiGo flight 6E 225, bearing registration VT NOG, was involved in the incident at around 9:02 am while being positioned at Bay No. 06.
All passengers and crew members on board the aircraft were safe. Following the incident, passengers were taken off the plane safely using manual aircraft stairs.
Airport authorities said the circumstances surrounding the incident will be examined by the relevant authorities in accordance with established procedures.
Officials said the precise cause will only be known after the inquiry is completed and stressed that no conclusions are being drawn at this stage.
The incident did not affect normal operations at Srinagar Airport. Arrivals and departures continued according to schedule.
