ICSE, ISC 2026 Results Announced: Pass Rate Crosses 99%, Girls Lead Performance
CISCE declares Class 10 and 12 results with girls outperforming boys in both exams

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations has announced the results for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for 2026, recording pass percentages above 99 per cent in both categories.
For the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education or ICSE exams, the overall pass percentage stood at 99.18 per cent. A total of 2,58,721 students appeared for the examination this year.
In the Indian School Certificate or ISC exams, 99.13 per cent of students cleared the test. Around 1,03,316 candidates had registered for the Class 12 examination.
Girls once again outperformed boys in both categories. In ICSE, girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.46 per cent, while boys recorded 98.93 per cent. Similarly, in ISC, girls secured 99.48 per cent, surpassing boys who achieved 98.81 per cent.

The consistently high pass percentages reflect strong overall performance, with girls continuing to lead academic outcomes across both levels this year.
