Health Minister U.T. Khader to Visit Uttara Kannada on July 4 to Review Rain Damage
Minister to hold a high level meeting with district officials to assess flood related damage, relief measures and ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
Karwar: Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Minister U.T. Khader will visit Uttara Kannada district on July 4 to review the damage caused by recent heavy rainfall and assess the progress of relief and rehabilitation work.
The minister is scheduled to arrive in Karwar from Mangaluru and will chair a review meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s office at 10:30 AM. Senior officials from the district administration and various government departments will participate in the meeting.
During the review, officials will brief the minister on the extent of rain related damage, relief and rehabilitation measures, precautionary steps, and the essential services being provided to affected residents.
The meeting will also focus on the prevailing weather situation across the district, emergency response measures, and ongoing efforts to ensure public safety. The minister is expected to issue necessary directions based on the reports presented by the officials.After concluding the review meeting, U.T. Khader will leave Karwar for Udupi at around 2:00 PM.
