Grand Mosque Announces Weekly Prayer Schedule for Imams in Makkah
Roster covers Sunday, 16 Rabi al-Thani to Saturday, 22 Rabi al-Thani 1448 AH
The Agency for Imams and Muezzins Affairs has released the weekly schedule of imams leading the five daily prayers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, covering the period from 16 to 22 Rabi al-Thani 1448 AH.
Sheikh Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Awad Al-Juhani will lead both the Fajr (dawn) and Dhuhr (noon) prayers this week, with Sheikh Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki serving as his reserve for Fajr and Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser Al-Dosari as reserve for Dhuhr.
For Asr (afternoon) prayers, Sheikh Prof. Dr. Faisal bin Jamil Ghazzawi will take the lead, with Sheikh Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Juhani named as reserve.
Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser Al-Dosari will lead the Maghrib (sunset) prayer, with Sheikh Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki serving as backup.
Finally, for Isha (night) prayers, Sheikh Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki will lead, with Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser Al-Dosari serving as reserve.
The weekly rotation continues the routine schedule maintained by the Agency to ensure smooth prayer leadership at the Grand Mosque, which welcomes worshippers from around the world throughout the day.
