The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has published the official weekly prayer schedule for the Imams of Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, covering the period from Sunday, 23 Dhul Qa’dah to Saturday, 29 Dhul Qa’dah 1447 AH.

Here is the complete schedule for the week:

Fajr (Dawn Prayer) Led by Sheikh Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki, with Sheikh Dr. Al-Waleed bin Khaled Al-Shamsan serving as the backup Imam.

Dhuhr (Midday Prayer) Led by Sheikh Dr. Al-Waleed bin Khaled Al-Shamsan, with Sheikh Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki as the reserve Imam.

Asr (Afternoon Prayer) Led by Sheikh Badr bin Muhammad Al-Turki, with Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser bin Rashid Al-Dossari standing by as backup.

Maghrib (Sunset Prayer) Led by Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser bin Rashid Al-Dossari, with Sheikh Dr. Al-Waleed bin Khaled Al-Shamsan as the reserve Imam.

Isha (Night Prayer) Led by Sheikh Prof. Dr. Faisal bin Jameel Al-Ghazawi, with Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser bin Rashid Al-Dossari serving as the backup Imam.


All designated Imams are senior scholars at Masjid al-Haram whose daily prayers are broadcast live and followed by millions of Muslims worldwide. The General Presidency publishes this schedule every week to keep worshippers, pilgrims, and visitors fully informed in advance.

This is a particularly important week as it covers the final days of Dhul Qa’dah, with Dhul Hijjah and the Hajj season set to begin within days. Makkah is currently at its busiest, receiving pilgrims from every corner of the world as they arrive to perform one of Islam’s greatest acts of worship.
