Dubai has announced a major step forward in its transport network with the launch of a new 42 kilometre metro line. Known as the Gold Line, the project will run through 15 important locations across the city and is expected to serve around 1.5 million residents.

The new line will also improve access to 55 large real estate developments that are currently under construction, making travel easier for both residents and investors. Officials say the expansion will play a key role in supporting the city’s rapid urban growth.

Construction is already planned with a target completion date set for September 9, 2032. Authorities believe this timeline reflects their commitment to delivering large scale infrastructure projects efficiently.

The announcement highlights Dubai’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its position as one of the world’s top cities to live in.
