Dinesh Gundu Rao Questions Karnataka Cabinet Exclusion, Seeks Clarity from Congress Leadership

Senior Congress leader and six time Gandhinagar MLA Dinesh Gundu Rao has expressed disappointment after being excluded from the newly expanded Karnataka Cabinet. He said the party leadership did not provide any reason for leaving him out of the list of ministers.

Speaking to reporters and sharing his views on social media platform X, Rao said he has maintained a clean public record and remained committed to the Congress ideology throughout his political career. He highlighted his years of service in the Youth Congress, the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, and the All India Congress Committee, adding that he has always worked with dedication and integrity.

Rao questioned whether there were any concerns about his performance or honesty, saying that committed party workers deserve clear explanations when important administrative decisions are made. He said transparency is essential to maintain the confidence of leaders and workers who have served the party for many years.

Despite his disappointment, Rao congratulated the 19 newly inducted ministers and wished them success in their new responsibilities. He also appealed to the Congress high command, KPCC president, and Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to address the concerns of senior leaders who were not included in the Cabinet.

Reaffirming his commitment to the Congress party, Rao said he will continue to serve the people of Gandhinagar and Karnataka with honesty, integrity, and dedication.
