The viral satirical platform known as the Cockroach Janata Party has intensified its online campaign against Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, demanding his resignation over the alleged irregularities in the NEET UG examination.

The group, which has gained massive popularity on social media in recent months, claims the examination controversy has damaged the future of millions of students across the country. Its founder, Abhijeet Dipke, appealed to supporters to sign an online petition seeking accountability from authorities over the handling of the issue.

Soon after the campaign gained attention, Dipke alleged that he began receiving threats online. He also claimed that his main Instagram account was hacked, leaving him unable to access the profile.

According to him, a secondary backup account linked to the movement was also removed from Instagram around the same period. The developments came shortly after the group’s official account on X was restricted in India under information technology regulations.

Despite the restrictions, the creators quickly launched a new account on X and continued their campaign, stating that the movement would continue despite attempts to silence it.

The Cockroach Janata Party first emerged as a satirical online initiative following controversial public discussions related to jobs and legal activism. Over time, it expanded into a larger platform focused on issues such as unemployment, education policies, and governance concerns.

Its unconventional style and strong engagement among young social media users helped the platform gain millions of followers within a short period. Before the recent restrictions, the group’s online reach had reportedly surpassed the follower count of several major political parties on social media platforms.
