Incident occurs during student protest gathering at Shaheed Smarak as supporters demand action against attackers.

Jaipur: A tense situation unfolded in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur after Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke was allegedly attacked during a public gathering at Shaheed Smarak on Monday.
According to initial reports, Dipke had reached the venue to address a student protest organised as part of the nationwide campaign launched by CJP over alleged irregularities in the education system and examination issues.
Videos from the location reportedly show Dipke being carried by supporters as he was moving towards the gathering area. During the incident, some unidentified individuals allegedly pulled his scarf from behind, causing a disturbance. The attackers allegedly slapped him several times before his supporters intervened and moved him away from the crowd.
The incident created panic at the protest site, following which security personnel and police officials stepped in. Authorities have started looking into the matter and efforts are underway to identify those involved in the alleged attack.
The CJP has recently been conducting protests across several cities against alleged examination irregularities, including concerns related to paper leaks and the NEET examination controversy. The movement began with a major student gathering in Delhi and later saw participation in cities including Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Lucknow and other parts of the country.
Abhijeet Dipke has been demanding accountability from the government over issues affecting students and has called for action regarding alleged failures in the examination system.
Following the Jaipur incident, student groups and supporters have condemned the attack and demanded strict action against those responsible. Authorities are expected to release further details after completing their investigation.
