Bhatkal Native Shakeel Shabandari Dies in Road Accident in Mumbai
The 58 year old was reportedly riding a scooter when a lorry collided with him in Dadar. His body is being brought to Bhatkal.
Mumbai (Fikrokhabar News): Shakeel Shabandari, a native of Bhatkal, died in a road accident in Dadar, one of Mumbai’s busy areas, on Monday.
According to a representative of the Bhatkal Muslim Jamaat in Mumbai, the 58 year old had been living in Mumbai for the past six years and was engaged in a small business.
He was reportedly travelling on a scooter for some work on Monday when a lorry collided with his vehicle in Dadar. He sustained severe injuries and died at around 11 pm on Monday night.
Representatives of the Bhatkal Muslim Jamaat in Mumbai extended their assistance with the necessary formalities following the accident.
His body left Mumbai for his hometown of Bhatkal on Tuesday evening and is expected to reach the area near Masjid e Tauba in Azad Nagar by Fajr on Wednesday.
News of his sudden death has caused grief in Bhatkal. Local personalities and representatives of welfare organisations have expressed their condolences over the tragic loss.
