Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation Hosts Seerat un Nabi Gathering, Maulana Abdul Subhan Nadwi Highlights the Path of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation organised a public gathering on Seerat un Nabi ﷺ at Amina Palace in Bhatkal after Isha prayers on Monday night.

The programme was held under the theme, “The Only Path Is the Path of the Prophet ﷺ.”

Maulana Abdul Subhan Nakhuda Nadwi Madani, a teacher of Tafsir and Hadith at Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama in Lucknow, attended the gathering as the chief guest and delivered the main address.

In his speech, Maulana Abdul Subhan spoke about the universal significance of the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He highlighted different aspects of the Prophetic Seerah and stressed the need for Muslims to follow the example of the Prophet ﷺ sincerely in their daily lives.

He said true success in an individual’s personal, family and social life lies in following the teachings and guidance brought by the Prophet ﷺ.

The speaker also addressed the moral and social challenges facing society today. He said many problems, including weakening religious values and difficulties within families and communities, can be addressed by sincerely adopting the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.

Addressing young people in particular, he urged them to use their time and abilities constructively and make the Sunnah an integral part of their lives.

He said Seerat gatherings should not be limited to listening to speeches and recitations. Their real purpose, he explained, is to inspire people to improve their character and bring their homes and everyday dealings closer to the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ.

Maulana Abdul Subhan further said that Islam represents the completion of Allah’s blessings and that Muslims should hold firmly to the guidance and Shariah given by Allah.

He stressed the importance of sincere intention, determination and piety in seeking Allah’s help. He also cautioned against the tendency to expect success in religious matters through wishes alone while relying on hard work and determination for worldly goals.

He said religious responsibilities also require genuine effort, commitment and strong resolve.

Programme begins with Quran recitation

The gathering began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Ahmed. Raed Qazi presented a Naat in praise of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Molvi Bashar Ruknuddin Nadwi conducted the proceedings.

Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation Secretary Maulana Syed Ahmed Iyad SM Nadwi spoke about the objectives, activities and services of the federation.

Federation President Maulana Wasiullah Nadwi delivered the presidential address, while General Secretary Mubashir Hussain Hilare expressed gratitude to the guests, scholars and members of the audience.

Jamiya Islamia Bhatkal Principal Maulana Maqbool Ahmed Nadwi, Nayeb Qazi of Jamaat ul Muslimeen Bhatkal Maulana Muhammad Ansar Nadwi Madani and Majlis Islah wa Tanzeem Bhatkal General Secretary Maulana Azizur Rahman Nadwi were among the scholars and community representatives present on the stage.

A large number of people from Bhatkal and surrounding areas attended the programme, with particularly strong participation from young people.
