Dubai – Pilgrims from the Bhatkal Muslim community preparing for Hajj this year received valuable guidance at a special training camp organized by the BMJD. Titled “Guide to Hajj,” the event focused on helping participants understand the rituals, common challenges, and deeper spiritual meaning behind the pilgrimage.

Syed Hashim Nizam SM Nadwi, addressed the gathering with heartfelt advice. He reminded everyone that being granted the opportunity to perform Hajj is a divine favor, not something earned through wealth or personal merit. He urged pilgrims to ensure their income is halal, as acts of worship accompanied by unlawful earnings may not be accepted by God.

Syed Moulana Hashim also stressed the importance of pure intentions and fulfilling the rights of others before setting out on the journey. Morally, he advised complete avoidance of quarrels, vulgar speech, or any form of sin during Hajj. He encouraged pilgrims to reflect deeply once they wear the Ihram, seeing it as a reminder of the day they will stand before God wrapped in just two simple cloths, as all humans will on the Day of Judgment.

He humbly requested the pilgrims to include their community back home in their prayers while visiting the holy sites, asking them not to forget those who could not make the journey.

The session featured a lively Q&A where attendees asked practical questions and received clear, reassuring answers.

The program began with Quranic recitation by Molvi Rabah Ruknuddin. Ghufraan Damda Abu delivered the welcome address, while Molvi Mushood Saada Nadwi served as the event’s host. The gathering ended with closing prayers led by Molana Mawla Nadwi.
