15-Year-Old Hafiz from Nashik Scores 99.927 Percentile in JEE Main

In an inspiring achievement, 15-year-old Hafiz Syed Zaid Sadiq from Nashik has secured the highest score in his city in JEE Main 2026 Session 2, with an impressive 99.927 percentile.

A student of Ashoka College, Zaid has drawn attention for his ability to manage both academic excellence and religious dedication at a young age. Alongside preparing for one of India’s toughest entrance exams, he also completed memorising the entire Quran by the age of 15.

Zaid began his religious education at local madrasas and later continued his memorisation at home during Class 9. With guidance from a tutor and close support from his mother, he successfully completed this significant milestone despite a demanding school schedule.

His academic performance has been equally strong. He scored 95 percent in his Class 10 exams and maintained a high standard in his JEE preparation, achieving above the 99 percentile mark in both sessions of the exam.

Family support played a key role in his journey. His father Syed Sadiq and mother Syed Zauqiya encouraged a disciplined routine that helped him stay focused on both his studies and religious commitments. Zaid also comes from an educational background, being the grandson of the late Syed Sattar Ali Roshan, a respected former municipal school head teacher.

Teachers at Ashoka College have praised his dedication and time management skills. One of his teachers noted that his success proves that with the right planning and determination, students can excel in multiple areas.

Zaid is now setting his sights on the next challenge as he prepares for JEE Advanced. His goal is to secure a place in one of the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology.
