Uttara Kannada ZP CEO Dr Dilish Shashi Reviews Facilities at Murudeshwar Beach
District CEO inspects tourism infrastructure and reviews development works during visits to Bhatkal and Kumta.
Bhatkal: Uttara Kannada Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Dr Dilish Shashi visited Murudeshwar Beach on Monday to review the condition of one of the district’s most popular tourist destinations.
During the inspection, he assessed cleanliness, public amenities, and tourism infrastructure at the beach. He also interacted with officials and sought updates on maintenance and the facilities being provided to visitors. Dr Shashi instructed the authorities to take the necessary steps to improve services and ensure a better experience for tourists.
Later, the CEO visited the Taluk Panchayat Office in Kumta, the Panchayat Raj Engineering Department, the Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, and Mavalli Gram Panchayat to review the implementation of various development projects.
He inspected office functioning, cleanliness, and important records while directing officials to complete ongoing projects within the stipulated time and maintain the required quality standards.
Taluk Panchayat Executive Officers, Assistant Directors, officials from various departments, Panchayat Development Officers, and other staff members were present during the inspection.
