Uttara Kannada Ranks Third in Karnataka 2nd PUC 2026 with 90.98 Percent, District Toppers Shine
Students from Bhatkal, Sirsi, Honavar and Kumta shine as toppers in Arts, Commerce and Science streams.
Karwar: The Uttara Kannada district has recorded an impressive performance in the Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2026, with several students emerging as toppers across Arts, Commerce and Science streams.
In the Arts stream, Shifa Anam from Anjuman PU College for Women, Bhatkal secured the first rank with 591 marks, achieving 98.50 percent. Jahnavi Masti Gouda from Government PU College, Hiregutti, Kumta stood second with 587 marks, while Sakshi Vinod Naik from Government PU College, Karwar secured the third position with 585 marks.
In the Commerce stream, Chinmayi Manjunath Shetty from SDM PU College, Honavar topped the district with an outstanding 596 marks and 99.33 percent. Pranav N Bhat from MES PU College, Sirsi secured the second rank with 594 marks, followed by Sanjana Nagappa Naik from The New English PU College, Bhatkal with 593 marks.
In the Science stream, Chaitanya G Hegde from MES PU College, Sirsi emerged as the topper with 595 marks and 99.16 percent. Maimuna Ajaib from Anjuman PU College for Women, Bhatkal secured the second rank with 594 marks, while Sharashchandra Hegde from Chetana PU College, Siddapur secured the third position with 593 marks.
The district’s overall performance reflects strong academic excellence, with students from multiple towns contributing to the top ranks. Educational institutions across Uttara Kannada have once again demonstrated their commitment to quality learning and consistent results.
