Tanzeem Helpline Centre to Continue SIR Assistance Till October 8
Voters can seek help with Form 6, corrections, SIR notices, hearings and EPIC related matters
Bhatkal: The Tanzeem Helpline Centre in Bhatkal will continue providing guidance and assistance to voters until October 8, 2026, in view of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Karnataka.
The centre is assisting citizens with various SIR related procedures, including Form 6 applications for new voter registration or inclusion of missing names, corrections in voter details and other electoral roll related matters.
Voters who have not yet completed the required procedures have been urged to make use of the available time and complete their applications or corrections before October 8.
Those who have applied for new voter registration but have not yet submitted the required documents to the concerned Booth Level Officer (BLO) have been requested to submit the documents without delay.
Applicants who have received a message confirming that their EPIC (Voter ID) has been generated have also been advised to download the EPIC and keep a copy safely for future reference.
The Tanzeem Helpline Centre is providing assistance regarding SIR notices, hearings, Form 6 applications, corrections in voter details, EPIC related matters and other issues connected with the electoral roll revision process.
SIR Committee Chairman Mubasshir Hallare appealed to all eligible voters to verify their electoral details and complete the necessary procedures within the stipulated time. He also urged applicants to submit any pending documents to the concerned BLO and securely retain their EPIC once it has been generated.
