Spiritual Gathering Marks Completion of Quran Tafseer Sessions at Salman Farsi Mosque in Bhatkal
Maulana Abdul Subhan Nakhuda Nadwi urges Muslims to understand the Quran and bring its teachings into daily life

Bhatkal: A spiritual gathering marking the completion of Quran Tafseer sessions was held at Salman Farsi Masjid in Salmanabad, Bhatkal, attracting a large number of residents from the area and surrounding localities.
Maulana Abdul Subhan Nakhuda Nadwi, a renowned Quran scholar and Tafseer teacher at Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow, attended the gathering as the chief guest and delivered a thought provoking address on the importance of understanding and reflecting upon the Quran.
Speaking after Maghrib prayers, Maulana Nakhuda Nadwi said the Quran is the ultimate source of guidance and that a strong connection with its teachings is essential for success in both this world and the Hereafter.
He stressed that Muslims should not limit their relationship with the Quran to recitation alone. Understanding its meanings and applying its guidance in personal, family and social life are equally important, he said.
Referring to the challenges faced by families and society today, he said many problems can be addressed by sincerely following the teachings of the Quran. He also emphasised the need to nurture the younger generation according to Quranic values and develop their character in the light of its teachings.
Maulana Abdus subhan encouraged those present to regularly organise Quran study circles and Tafsir sessions in their homes and mosques. Such efforts, he said, can help develop a stronger culture of understanding and practising the Quran within society.
The programme, organised by the management of Salman Farsi Masjid, continued from Maghrib until Isha prayers. A large gathering of residents from Salmanabad and nearby areas attended the session.
The programme concluded with a special dua for the unity, peace and well being of the Muslim Ummah.
