Sirsi MLA Bheemanna Naik Urges Government to Upgrade Sirsi Taluk Hospital to District Hospital
Proposal aims to bring advanced healthcare services and improved medical infrastructure to Sirsi and surrounding regions.

Sirsi: MLA Bheemanna T. Naik of the Sirsi Siddapur constituency has submitted a request to the state government seeking the upgradation of Sirsi Taluk Hospital into a district hospital.
During a meeting with Health and Family Welfare Minister U.T. Khader in Bengaluru, the MLA highlighted the growing need for better healthcare facilities in Sirsi and nearby areas. He emphasized that residents should have access to quality and advanced medical services without having to travel long distances.
In his representation, Naik called for the hospital to be equipped with modern medical technology and improved infrastructure. He also stressed the importance of appointing adequate medical and non medical staff to ensure efficient healthcare delivery.
The minister reportedly responded positively to the proposal and assured that the matter would be examined at the departmental level. He further stated that necessary steps would be taken at the earliest after a detailed review.
Additional Chief Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department Ritvik Pandey and Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde were also present during the meeting.
