Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser Al-Dosari named reserve khateeb for the 7 Rabi al-Thani sermon

The Agency for Imams and Muezzins Affairs has announced that Sheikh Dr. Bandar bin Abdulaziz Baleela, Imam and Khateeb of the Grand Mosque, will deliver this Friday’s sermon in Makkah. The sermon falls on 7 Rabi al-Thani 1448 AH.
As is customary, a reserve khateeb has also been named for the occasion. This week, that role goes to Sheikh Prof. Dr. Yasser bin Rashid Al-Dosari, who will step in if required.
Sheikh Baleela is one of the most recognized voices at the Grand Mosque, having led prayers there for several years and built a wide following among worshippers both in Makkah and abroad.
Friday prayers at the Grand Mosque continue to draw large crowds, with worshippers gathering from across the globe to follow the khutbah and prayers live from the Holy Kaaba.
