Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais to Deliver Friday Sermon at Masjid al-Haram This Week
The head of the General Presidency and senior Imam of the Grand Mosque Sheikh Sudais will lead Jumu'ah prayer on 6 Dhul Qa'dah 1447 AH.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has announced that His Excellency Sheikh Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, Imam and Khateeb of Masjid al-Haram, will deliver this Friday’s sermon and lead the Jumu’ah prayer at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
The prayer is scheduled for 6 Dhul Qa’dah 1447 AH – a particularly meaningful time of the year, as the sacred month of Dhul Qa’dah marks the beginning of the Hajj season period, with pilgrims and visitors increasingly arriving in Makkah from around the world.
As is standard practice, a Reserve Khateeb has also been officially named. His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid will serve as the standby preacher this week, ready to step in if required.
