Several Yeshwantpur Karwar Express Services Cancelled During October and November
South Western Railway suspends multiple services to facilitate track maintenance work between Shrivagilu and Yedakumari.
South Western Railway has announced the temporary cancellation of several services of the 16515 and 16516 Yeshwantpur Karwar Tri Weekly Express due to scheduled track maintenance work.
According to an official press release, the cancellations are necessary to facilitate track repair, maintenance, and tamping work between the Shrivagilu and Yedakumari sections.
Train No. 16515 Yeshwantpur Karwar Express will remain cancelled on October 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 21, 23, 26, 28, and 30, as well as November 2, 2026.
Similarly, Train No. 16516 Karwar Yeshwantpur Express will remain cancelled on October 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 22, 24, 27, 29, and 31, along with November 3, 2026.
South Western Railway has advised passengers planning to travel on these dates to make alternative arrangements and check the latest train status before commencing their journey.
The railway administration expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and stated that the maintenance work is essential to improve track safety, ensure better infrastructure, and provide safer train operations.
