Lucknow: Renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Syed Salman Hussaini Nadwi has passed away in Lucknow. His demise has been mourned by scholars, religious institutions, and communities across the country.
Maulana Salman Nadwi was a respected figure in Islamic studies and was widely known for his contributions to Arabic and Urdu literature. He authored numerous scholarly works and dedicated his life to teaching, research, and religious education.
He served as the Dean of the Faculty of Dawah at Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow, one of India’s prominent Islamic educational institutions. Through his teaching and writings, he influenced generations of students and scholars.
The funeral prayer and burial will be held after Asr prayers at Jamia Syed Ahmad Shaheed, Katouli, Malihabad.
