Red Fort Blast Case: Court Sends Ninth Accused to NIA Custody Till December 26
The accused, a Jammu and Kashmir resident, is alleged to have played an active role in the conspiracy behind the deadly blast.

A Delhi court on Thursday sent Yasir Ahmad Dar, the ninth accused arrested in connection with the Red Fort blast case, to the custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) till December 26.
Special Judge Prashant Sharma allowed the NIAβs request for custodial interrogation after the agency produced Dar before the court following his arrest earlier in the day.
According to the NIA, Dar is a resident of Jammu and Kashmir and a close associate of suicide bomber Umar-un-Nabi. The agency alleged that Dar was actively involved in the conspiracy that led to the blast at the Red Fort on November 10, in which 15 people were killed and several others were injured.
The NIA claimed that Dar had taken an oath to carry out self-sacrificial operations and was in constant touch with other accused in the case. These include Umar-un-Nabi and Mufti Irfan, who are also named as key conspirators.
Investigators said Darβs custodial interrogation is necessary to uncover further details of the conspiracy, identify additional links, and trace the broader network involved in the attack.
