Prophet’s Mosque Releases Weekly Prayer Schedule for Imams in Madinah
Roster covers Sunday, 3 Rabi al-Awwal to Saturday, 9 Rabi al-Awwal 1448 AH
The Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has published this week’s schedule of imams leading the five daily prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, covering 3 to 9 Rabi al-Awwal 1448 AH.
For the Fajr (dawn) prayer, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Muhsin Al-Qurafi will lead worshippers, with Sheikh Saleh bin Awad Al-Ghamdi serving as reserve imam.
The Dhuhr (noon) prayer will be led by Sheikh Saleh bin Awad Al-Ghamdi, with Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al-Bu’ijan named as his backup.
For Asr (afternoon) prayers, Sheikh Prof. Dr. Ali bin Abdul Rahman Al-Huthaify will take the lead, with Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Muhsin Al-Qurafi serving as reserve.
The Maghrib (sunset) prayer will be led by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al-Bu’ijan, with Sheikh Dr. Abdul Muhsin bin Muhammad Al-Qasim on standby.
Finally, for Isha (night) prayers, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al-Bu’ijan will again lead, with Sheikh Dr. Abdul Muhsin bin Muhammad Al-Qasim serving as reserve imam.
The weekly rotation ensures continuity in prayer leadership at the Prophet’s Mosque, which continues to welcome large numbers of worshippers and visitors throughout the week.
