Praveen Karande Takes Charge as Bhatkal Tahsildar After Transfer of Nagendra Kolashetti
Honnavar Tahsildar assumes additional responsibility, bringing previous administrative experience in Bhatkal to ensure smooth functioning.
Bhatkal: Following the transfer of Bhatkal Tahsildar Nagendra Kolashetti, Honnavar Tahsildar Praveen Karande took charge as the in charge Tahsildar of Bhatkal on Thursday.
After assuming office, a simple welcome programme was held at the Bhatkal Taluk office. Deputy Tahsildar, Shirastedar, and staff members from various departments warmly welcomed the new in charge Tahsildar and presented him with a bouquet.
During the occasion, officials briefed Praveen Karande about the ongoing administrative activities and functioning of the office. He is expected to oversee revenue administration and public service activities in the taluk until a regular appointment is made to the post.
Karande is not new to Bhatkal administration. He had earlier served as the in charge Assistant Commissioner of the Bhatkal subdivision. His previous experience and familiarity with the region are expected to help maintain continuity and ensure smooth functioning of the revenue department.
