Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a roadshow in Udupi on November 28, BJP district president Kutyaru Naveen Shetty announced on Tuesday.

The event is scheduled to start at 11:40 a.m. from Narayanaguru Circle in Bannanje and will conclude at Kalsanka Junction. According to Shetty, the route will feature cultural performances showcasing the coastal region’s traditions, including Yakshagana, tiger dance troupes, and Krishna-themed artistes.

Barricades will be set up along one side of the road, and the BJP expects more than 30,000 people to gather to welcome the Prime Minister. Residents have been advised to take their positions along the Bannanje–Kalsanka road by 10:30 a.m.

Following the roadshow, Modi is scheduled to visit the Krishna Matha for darshan. He will then take part in a mass ‘Laksha Kantha Geeta Parayana’ before addressing a public gathering.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, BJP state president B.Y. Vijayendra, MPs Kota Srinivas Poojary and Brijesh Chowta, as well as local MLAs and senior leaders, are expected to attend the programme.
