No Third SSLC Exam in Karnataka This Year; Revaluation Process Begins
Students can apply for scanned copies and revaluation from April 23 as board releases detailed schedule
Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has confirmed that there will be no third SSLC examination this year. Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa said the decision was taken after reviewing the overall performance of students, which he described as satisfactory and on par with recent Second PUC results.
The second SSLC examination is scheduled to take place between May 18 and May 25.
Following the announcement of results, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board has opened the process for students who wish to review their answer scripts. This includes applying for scanned copies, requesting re counting, and opting for re evaluation.
Students can apply for scanned copies of their answer sheets from April 23 to April 26. Those who miss this window can still apply on April 27 and April 28 by paying a late fee of Rs 100 per day.
The fee for obtaining scanned copies is Rs 410 per subject when paid online or through Karnataka One centres. If students choose offline centres, the cost may increase slightly to Rs 420 due to additional service charges. Direct payments can also be made at Bengaluru One or Karnataka One centres, where the total amount may vary depending on the service category.
The board has made it clear that students must first obtain a scanned copy of their answer script before applying for re evaluation. It also advised candidates to carefully enter their registration number and subject codes, as errors will not be corrected later.
Officials added that applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances. They also emphasized that all fees paid during the process are non refundable.
