Minister Lakshman Savadi Launches Digital Information Board on Government Schemes in Karwar
The new digital display will provide the public with quick and easy access to information on government schemes and services.
Karwar: Cooperative Minister and Uttara Kannada District In Charge Minister Lakshman Savadi on Saturday inaugurated a digital information board installed at the Mini Vidhana Soudha premises in Karwar.
The initiative aims to make information about various government schemes and public services easily accessible to citizens. The digital board brings details about welfare programmes, departmental services, eligibility criteria and available benefits onto a single platform.
Speaking at the event, Minister Lakshman Savadi said digital technology should be used effectively to create greater awareness among people about government schemes.
He said the new digital facility would help deliver important information to citizens quickly and make it easier for them to learn about schemes and services available to them.
KSMCA President and Karwar Ankola MLA Satish Sail, Deputy Commissioner K. Lakshmipriya, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Dr. Dileesh Shashi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sajid Mulla, along with officials from various departments and other dignitaries, attended the programme.
