Mega Voter ID Camp to Be Held in Bhatkal on May 19 and 20
Two day camp by Majlis e Islah wa Tanzeem aims to help citizens with voter ID registration, corrections, and electoral roll updates

Bhatkal: A Mega Voter ID Camp will be organized in Bhatkal on May 19 and 20, 2026, by Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem to assist residents with various voter related services ahead of Karnataka’s upcoming Special Intensive Revision process.
The camp will be held at the Tanzeem Office on Siddique Street from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both days.
According to the organizers, the initiative is aimed at helping eligible citizens apply for new voter ID cards, add their names to the electoral roll, and correct errors in existing voter ID cards.
Residents who are 18 years and above have been requested to attend the camp with the necessary documents, including identity proof, address proof, age proof, passport size photographs, and Xerox copies of all required documents. Organizers have also advised participants to carry the mobile number linked with their Aadhaar card.
Officials and volunteers at the camp will also carry out large scale correction and updating work related to voter records.
The camp comes ahead of the Special Intensive Revision announced by the Election Commission of India, which is scheduled to begin on June 20, 2026. As part of the process, Booth Level Officers will conduct house to house voter verification from June 30 to July 29.
Organizers have urged all eligible residents to make use of the opportunity and complete their voter registration and correction procedures without delay.
