Mega Teachers’ Job Fair 2026 Held at Anjuman College of Education in Bhatkal
More than 21 educational institutions participate as nearly 200 teaching aspirants attend recruitment drive
Bhatkal: Anjuman College of Education (B.Ed.), Bhatkal, organised a Mega Teachers’ Job Fair 2026 on September 27 at its Anjumanabad campus, bringing together teaching aspirants and educational institutions from different parts of Karnataka on a common recruitment platform.
The job fair was organised with the aim of creating direct employment opportunities for qualified teachers while providing schools and educational institutions an opportunity to interact with, interview and recruit suitable candidates at a single venue.
Nearly 200 candidates participated in the recruitment drive, with the organisers reporting that around 90 percent of the candidates received job offers or progressed towards employment opportunities through the participating institutions.
More than 21 educational institutions from different parts of Karnataka took part in the fair. Participating institutions came from several districts, including Vijayapura, Dharwad, Bagalkot, Raichur, Gadag, Koppal and Uttara Kannada. Institutions from locations such as Kalakeri, Nargund, Ilkal, Sindhanur, Shirol, Koppal and Honnavar were among those represented.
The participating institutions appreciated the overall arrangements and the quality of candidates available at the fair. They particularly highlighted the opportunity to interview a large number of eligible teaching candidates at one venue, along with the systematic organisation, smooth coordination, hospitality and support provided by the college students and staff.
Several participating institutions also expressed their interest in taking part in future job fairs and maintaining further engagement with Anjuman College of Education.
The event provided a direct platform for qualified teachers seeking employment and educational institutions looking for teaching professionals. The organisers said the initiative demonstrated the potential of the college to act as a bridge between teacher education and employment opportunities.
The successful conduct of the job fair was supported by Principal Prof. Hasan Bagewadi, Professional College Board Secretary Mr. Mohtisham Aheed Shoeb, Event Coordinator Mr. Imran Manik and Faculty Coordinators Prof. Shweta Kumari, Prof. Hasan Dongri and Prof. Shireen. Student Coordinator Mr. Ilyas Barmawar also played a role in coordinating the event.
The college placed on record its appreciation for the students and staff who contributed to the arrangements, candidate coordination, hospitality and volunteer services throughout the programme.
Special acknowledgement was also given to Mr. Ishaque Shabandari, General Secretary of Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen, Mr. Yunus Kazia, President of Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen, and other board members for their guidance and support towards the initiative.
With more than 21 educational institutions and nearly 200 teaching aspirants participating, the Mega Teachers’ Job Fair 2026 concluded as a significant recruitment initiative for the college.
The organisers said the response from candidates and educational institutions has provided a strong foundation for developing the Teachers’ Job Fair into a regular annual initiative of Anjuman College of Education, Bhatkal.
