Majlis e Islah Wa Tanzeem Urges Voters to Complete SIR 2026 Process Without Delay

Bhatkal: Majlis e Islah Wa Tanzeem President Inayatullah Shabandri has urged all eligible voters to complete the ongoing Special Intensive Revision 2026 process by submitting their Enumeration Forms as soon as possible.

Addressing the media, Shabandri said that according to information provided by the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka, voters are not required to provide details from 2002 relating to themselves or their family members if those records are not available. He encouraged people not to postpone submitting their forms because of missing information.

He also appealed to voters who have not yet received an Enumeration Form to get in touch with their respective Booth Level Officers immediately. Those who have already received the form were advised to fill it carefully and submit it promptly to their Booth Level Officer or Booth Level Agent.

Tanzeem SIR Committee Chairman Mubasshir Hallare said the Tanzeem SIR Helpline Centre on Bunder Road in Bhatkal has been offering free assistance to the public for nearly a month. He announced that services for Form 6, which is used for new voter registration, will begin at the centre on July 26, 2026. Residents can visit the centre for free support with Enumeration Forms, Form 6 registration, document related guidance, and online submission.

During the press conference, Tanzeem General Secretary Azizur Rahman Ruknuddin also condemned the reported lathi charge on students, women, and peaceful demonstrators at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. He said the right to peaceful protest is a fundamental part of democracy and called on the government to engage with the protesters through dialogue and address their genuine concerns without delay.

The press conference was held at the Tanzeem SIR Helpline Centre on Bunder Road in Bhatkal on July 23, 2026, at 5:30 PM. Vice President Qamar Sada was also present.
